On December 22, the U.S. Embassy hosted a welcome ceremony for 20 new students that will benefit from the Martin Luther King/College Horizons English language scholarship program. The event was presided over by U.S. Embassy Charge d'Affaires John S. Creamer, Cultural Affairs Officer E.J. Monster, and Centro Boliviano Americano (CBA) EducationUSA Advisor Rosmery Romero. The Martin Luther King/College Horizons program provides English learning scholarships to outstanding students from public schools and covers three years of English studies at the CBA. The U.S. Embassy in Bolivia currently provides scholarships for English language study to more than 400 students throughout Bolivia.
