This warden message is being issued to advise U.S. citizens traveling to and residing in Bolivia that today, March 6th, is the anniversary of El Alto and there will be civic parades all around El Alto. Traffic will be blocked in several places.  Our advice is to avoid this area if at all possible.  If you need to travel through El Alto use your best judgment, and be extra alert.
