Book Donation to Jose Ballivian University

On September 11, U.S. Embassy Public Affairs Officer Aruna Amirthanayagam visited the Jose Ballivian Autonomous University in Trinidad, Beni to present a donation consisting in 122 books and a similar number of publications in Spanish for the libraries of several university departments. These libraries serve both students and readers from the community.

University chairman Luis Carlos Zambrano appreciated this demonstration of friendship on the part of the Embassy and underscored the high quality of the donated books. This donation is part of an ongoing Embassy book donation program called "Estados Unidos y Bolivia, unidos en la lectura".
