On January 27, Vice Consul Barbara Mozdzierz visited the El Alto Branch of the Bi-National Center (CBA) to give a lecture on the life of Martin Luther King Jr. and his contributions to the advancement of the Civil Rights Movement for African Americans. The lecture was attended by a group of students that received the Access Program scholarship from the U.S. Government to study English and learn about U.S. culture. The lecture was part of the Embassy Speakers Program which helps connect U.S. Embassy officials with Bolivian audiences in schools, universities, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and groups throughout Bolivia.  The goal of our program is to broaden the understanding of the United States.
