On July 28, 39 female officers graduated from the international advanced counternarcotics course "Garras del Valor," which is offered with the support of the Narcotics Affairs Section (NAS) of the U.S. Embassy in Bolivia. The graduating officers included three officers from Ecuador and one from Panama, who joined their Bolivian counterparts in completing the demanding 80-day course.

During the graduation ceremony, NAS Director Susan Keogh congratulated the officers who completed the course and urged them to continue fighting for a drug-free society.
