Ocho estudiantes universitarios bolivianos de origen rural con el Encargado de Negocios, John Creamer (State Department)

Eight Bolivian university students of rural background visited Chargé d' Affaires John Creamer. The students have been selected to participate in a program organized by the U.S. Embassy in La Paz, and the Study of the U.S. Branch, Office of Academic Exchange Programs, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. The "U.S. Institute for Latin American Indigenous Student Leaders” or "Winter Institute" which takes place during January and February of every year, primarily at George Mason University in Virginia. The program is designed to provide a group of eight highly motivated indigenous student leaders from across Bolivia with a five-week academic seminar and educational travel program that will give them a deeper understanding of U.S. society, culture, values and institutions, while at the same time enhancing their leadership potential.
