U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs Roberta S. Jacobson met with Bolivian Foreign Minister David Choquehuanca on Saturday, June 3, at Hotel Regina in Tiquipaya. Both dignitaries discussed topics to be addressed at the 42nd Assembly of the Organization of American States (OAS), which opened Sunday in Cochabamba.

Jacobson visited Bolivia as the leader of U.S. delegation, which also included U.S. Permanent Representative to the OAS Ambassador Carmen Lomellin.

U.S. Assistant Secretary Jacobson also visited FOTROMA, a cooperative of weavers who receive USAID cooperation, where she met with women who produce and export quinoa flowers and honey.
