The Embassy is open Monday through Friday, except on U.S. and Bolivian holidays.

Non-Immigrant Visas

Interviews are conducted Monday through Thursday by appointment only scheduled through our Call Center. Click here for information about scheduling a non-immigrant visa appointment.

Immigrant Visas

Interviews are by appointment only. For further information on Immigrant visa applications, please click on the left navigation bar, Immigrant Visas.

Questions and inquiries about immigrant visas are accepted only via e-mail, not by telephone.  You can send your immigrant visa question to consularlapaz@state.gov and we will do our best to respond promptly.

Immigrant visa documents requested in the “221g refusal letter” are accepted on Wednesdays from 8:30am to 10:30am.
