Visa Requirement for US Citizens Traveling to Bolivia for Tourism

Effective December 1, 2007 citizens of the United States traveling to Bolivia for tourism require a visa.  Below are two prior US Embassy warden messages regarding how to apply for a Bolivian tourist visa:  1) upon arrival at Bolivian airports and other Bolivian ports of entry; and 2) at Bolivian Consulates abroad.  Please continue to direct specific inquiries to the Bolivian Embassy in Washington or your nearest Bolivian Consulate (see http://www.bolivia-usa.org/ for contact information).
